My husband had his body chopped in half in horror forklift accident – sick trolls accuse me of exploiting him for money

 

A woman who cut her husband's body in half in a horrific forklift accident has criticized savage trolls, accusing her of using him for money.

Lauren Schwers was only 18 years old when he veered off a bridge at a construction site and fell 50 feet.

The worker was left pinned to the ground under the four-ton vehicle following the accident in September 2019.

I cut off Lauren's right arm and completely crushed everything from his pelvis down.

His girlfriend Sabia Reich, then 19, called him six times as doctors warned him he wouldn't.

His family was asked to make the agonizing decision about allowing surgeons to cut him in half.

Three years later, Lauren and Sabia - who married last year - are a huge hit on social media as they share updates with fans.

But despite the support of Sabia, 23, and Lauren, 20, throughout his recovery, sick trolls accused her of using her husband for money and watching.

Sabia responded to the hateful comments and insisted that it was Lauren who had a strong online presence.

On her Instagram story she wrote: "I think it's so funny when I see people online making posts about me saying I'm using Lauren on YouTube blah blah blah and I'm using him for money and views when he's the one who wants/chooses to use YouTube and I'm the one who doesn't really want To be in the public eye."

The couple recently moved to a house in Montana, United States together.

It comes after Lauren was targeted by conspiracy theorists who accused him of using the couple's GoFundMe page as a scam.

He said: “I've seen two comments that said such a scam is very complex.

Sabia revealed that an entire thread has been created on social media in an attempt to debunk the couple as a fraud.

She said, "There are people who think we are using CGI to make Lauren's limbs disappear and that this is one big scam.

“When we spread the first type of virus, there was like a subreddit page about how this is a scam and we lie about it and tweak it to make his body disappear and those are just crazy.

"The conspiracies that some people come up with but we've obviously laughed at and ignored because we're not going to let it get to us but it's just crazy."

In order to silence the trolls, Lauren lifted himself up until he was hanging with one hand during the live broadcast to reveal the lower part of his torso.

After the accident, a radical hemectomy - amputating everything below the waist - was the only way to save his life, but his mother and sister didn't know if Lauren would prefer death.

She said the doctors agreed to wake up Lauren, and he immediately realized that something terrible had happened.
