Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky urged the world on Friday to condemn "fake referendums" as Kremlin proxies began voting on Russia's annexation of Moscow-controlled areas of Ukraine.
In his daily address to the nation, Zelensky said: "The world will react absolutely justly to phony referendums - they will be categorically condemned."
