"(Congress agrees) to include in the party constitution statements ... strongly opposing and deterring separatists seeking 'Taiwan independence',

It was stated in the decision.

The main meeting also endorsed Xi Jinping's "basic position" among his leadership, while emphasizing that he would obtain an unprecedented third term in power.
