The Tesla CEO on Thursday brought up his on-again, off-again bid to buy the microblogging site Twitter while asking his followers to buy his newly-launched fragrance.

Elon Musk is causing a Twitter stir again, this time while promoting his newly launched fragrance, Burnt Hair. The Tesla CEO on Thursday rolled out his recurring offer to buy the microblogging site while asking his followers to buy the fragrance.
Elon Musk's tweet read: "Please buy my perfume, so I can buy Twitter."

Wednesday,
Musk took to Twitter to announce the launch of his fragrance line, joking that his entry into the perfume industry with a name like his entry into perfume is "inevitable." He even changed his Twitter bio to "Perfume Seller."

The 'omnigender' is priced at €8,400 (US$100) and is described as 'the essence of burning desire'.
"Just like lying on a candle at the dinner table, but without all the hard work," says the perfume website.

Musk's bid to buy Twitter since April has seen many ups and downs. So far, he has accepted and rejected a seat on Twitter's board of directors, has sought to make the company private and has tried to pull out of the deal altogether.
