Amid the escalating war between Moscow and Kiev, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said on Wednesday that Russia has used nearly 400 Iranian drones against the civilian population of Ukraine, according to the Kyiv Independent newspaper.
The Ukrainian president claimed that about 400 Iranian-made witnesses
136 kamikaze drones were used in multiple explosions that took place in Kyiv and targeted the country's civilian population.
"Russia has used about 400 Iranian-made Shahed-136 kamikaze aircraft against the civilian population of Ukraine," President Zelensky said.

The Kyiv Independent newspaper reported that Russian forces used 28 drones to attack Kyiv that day, killing five people.

Russian President Vladimir Putin opened the Crimean Bridge in 2018, four years after Moscow's annexation of Crimea, and is designed to connect the peninsula to Russia's transport network.
The 19-kilometer bridge, which passes through the Kerch Strait and connects Crimea with the mainland of Russia, consists of a railway and vehicular sections.
It became fully operational in 2020.
