Elon Musk on Sunday announced that Twitter will soon allow users to add long-form text to their tweets.

Elon Musk announced on Sunday that Twitter will soon allow users to add long text to their tweets.
"Twitter will soon add the ability to attach long text to tweets, ending the absurdity of notepad screenshots," Musk wrote on Twitter.
The Tesla and SpaceX chief also added that this feature will be followed by "creator monetization of all forms of content."
One user noted that YouTube "gives creators 55% of ad revenue."

"We can beat that." Musk replied.

Musk also looked into Twitter's search feature and said his company would work to improve it.
"Searching inside Twitter reminds me of Infoseek in '98! It would also improve Pronto a lot," Musk said.
Twitter on Saturday launched its subscription-based Twitter Blue service for $8 per month that includes a blue "Verified" badge and other features.


Musk, who took over the social media platform last month,

Currently, Twitter Blue is only available for iOS users.
