Humans Have Dumped Over 7,000 Kg Of Trash On Mars: Study
The surface of Mars has been visited by a number of spacecraft, and each of them unintentionally left behind pieces of trash that were dispersed all over the planet.
Ever since humans first set their eyes on Mars as a star-like object in the night sky, it has always attracted human attention. This applies to both Indian legends and Hollywood science fiction films. About 50 years ago, humans began exploring Mars, and by 2030, NASA hopes to send a human mission there for the first time.
Although there is still a long way to go for humans to progress on Mars, we are not far behind in our efforts to scatter the Red Planet and make it more Earth-like.

According to Cagri Kilic, a postdoctoral research fellow in robotics at West Virginia University,
“The adventurous robotic explorations by humans have already left over 7,118 people.
6 kg of human waste on the Red Planet."
The mass of all orbiters and vehicles on Mars was analyzed to arrive at this estimate, which was then subtracted from the mass of the vehicles still operating.
Different countries sent 18 people-
The spacecraft to Mars has undertaken more than 14 different missions, according to the United Nations Office for Outer Space Affairs.
NASA announced in mid-August 2022 that the Mars Perseverance probe had discovered a piece of trash that had been dumped after landing. And this wasn't the first time researchers had discovered trash on Mars.
There is a large amount of rubbish debris there.
“Debris on the surface of Mars comes from three main sources: neglected instrumentation, inactive spacecraft, and a wrecked spacecraft. Every mission to the surface of Mars requires a unit that protects the spacecraft,” Kilic said.
This unit includes a heat shield when the craft passes through the planet's atmosphere, a parachute and landing gear so it can land quietly."
Another great source of garbage is the fragments of destroyed spacecraft.
At least two spacecraft crashed,
Four others lost contact just before or just after landing.
