Imran Khan Lauds PM Modi, Slams Nawaz Sharif Over Foreign Properties
Pakistan's former Prime Minister Imran Khan has once again lauded India's Prime Minister Narendra Modi while comparing with Pakistan Muslim League (N) supremo Nawaz Sharif on the issue of corruption.
Former Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan once again praised Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi while comparing him with Pakistan Muslim League (North) President Nawaz Sharif on the issue of corruption.
In a video that went viral on the Internet,
Former Prime Minister Khan was seen talking about properties owned by Nawaz Sharif outside Pakistan (foreign countries).
Then he launched a scathing attack on Nawaz, saying: "There is no other leader in the world except Nawaz who owns billions of property."
“Tell me about a country whose president or leader owns billions of dollars in real estate outside the country.
Even in our neighboring country, how many properties does Prime Minister Modi own outside of India? "
"No one can imagine how many assets and properties Nawaz owns abroad," Imran Khan added.
This is not the first time that Imran Khan has praised India. Also earlier, he was seen praising India's foreign policy.
Imran Khan praised India for buying discounted oil from Russia and said his government is also working on the same with the help of an independent foreign policy and criticized the PML-N (North)-led government for "running like a headless chicken with the deteriorating economy."
"Despite being part of the Quartet,
India continued pressure from the United States and bought discounted Russian oil to provide relief to the masses. This is what our government has been working towards with the help of an independent foreign policy,” Imran Khan tweeted while retweeting a piece of information about the reduction in petrol and diesel prices in India.
Earlier, also in April,
The Pakistan Insaf Movement (PTI) chief praised India as "Khidir Kwam" (very self-respecting people) and said that no superpower can dictate terms to the neighboring country, acknowledging that both New Delhi and Islamabad do not share a good relationship.
“Indians are green people (people who are very self-respecting). No great power can dictate conditions to India,
He said Friday during his national address on the eve of a controversial vote of no-confidence that seemed certain he would fire him.
Imran Khan said India and Pakistan got their independence together, but Islamabad is used as tissue paper.
“We and India got our independence together, but Pakistan is used as a tissue and is being discarded,
He added that while he was not hostile to the United States, the foreign plot was an "assault on our sovereignty."
