After Hitting Golf Ball Into Grand Canyon TikToker Faces Criminal Charges

A video of TikTok Star striking a golf ball into the Grand Canyon went viral, and she may now face charges.

After a video of her crushing a golf ball in the Grand Canyon went viral, a TikTok star has been charged with criminal offenses. In a statement posted to its Facebook page along with a screenshot of the video bringing charges against the 19-year-old, Grand Canyon National Park said.

“Help members of the public identify the individual’s social media account. On October 27, Grand Canyon law enforcement identified,

Locate and contact the person responsible for the accident,” Grand Canyon National Park wrote in the statement.

"The charges and habeas corpus for the individual are still pending. Throwing objects over the edge of the ravine is not only illegal but can also endanger hikers and wildlife who may be below."

Although Ms Sigmond's social media accounts have since deleted the video, Reddit users have been able to save a clip from the original post.
